From hunting lodge to charming lakeside hotel<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The “Harrida” house was once the hunting lodge of Count Harri von Stolberg and his wife Ida Russka. The house, not yet known as “Harrida” at the time, was built in 1924 by the carpenter and Stockenboier Burgermeister Mr. Unterluggauer and completed in 1926.<\/p>\n

From then on, it served as a hunting lodge and private accommodation for the Stolberg family.
\nAfter the end of the Second World War, the hunting lodge was then used as accommodation by the British military police and returned to the Stolberg family after the withdrawal of all armed forces.<\/p>\n

In the post-war period, many exclusive guests and friends of the Stolberg family gradually came to the Wei\u00dfensee to enjoy their summer retreat at the beautiful Wei\u00dfensee again. Names like H\u00f6rbiger, Wessely and many more. appear again and again in our oldest guest book.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, the name Harrida was invented by the friends and guests of Count Harri von Stolberg and his wife Ida Russka. The two first names were jokingly joined together to create the name Harrida.<\/p>\n

My grandparents Irma and Rudolf Posch bought the house in the late 1950s and over the years it was gradually converted from a small hunting lodge with a shower and WC in the corridor into a proper hotel with an annexe.<\/p>\n

In the mid-90s, the henchmen were then sent out in all four directions to look for a suitable successor. It wasn’t long before a grandson was chosen to succeed him. Of course, we had to prove ourselves suitable and so many years of training and collaboration passed until the final foundation stone for the succession was finally laid in 2016.<\/p>\n

From 2016, grandson Attila increasingly took the reins and tried to carefully maneuver the business into the 21st century alongside his grandmother, who never thought of giving up.<\/p>\n

A few more years passed and so the great and loving Mrs. Kolouch passed away suddenly on January 14, 2021 at the age of 95.<\/p>\n

Now the fate of the Hotel Harrida is in my hands and will undergo a gentle revitalization in the coming years. My family and I are looking forward to this future challenge with confidence.<\/p>\n
